Wallenpaupack Area School District is ready to approve Varsity Girls Lacrosse for the '25/'26 school year! We need our interested 8th - 11th grade girls to sign our intent survey to expedite the process.

Lacrosse has been the fastest growing youth team sport in America for the past 10 years. Wallenpaupack and our neighbors in Wayne Highlands and Western Wayne are thirsting for this sport to come to town. Now is the time. Grow the game.
What is our GOAL?
Grow the game of lacrosse in our area
Play competitive lacrosse at all levels
Establish a Wallenpaupack High School and MS team
Spread the game to Honesdale High School and Western Wayne
Create a welcoming and completely inclusive lacrosse family
Why are we doing this?
Once you’re in, you’re hooked. This is the fastest, most entertaining sport on two feet.
This is a spring sport, something our area is deficient in, and is a great alternative to little league and track.
Lacrosse is an excellent conditioning program for soccer AND football players in the spring.
There’s a special bonding that takes place within the lacrosse community; maybe it's the ancestral spirit that hangs over its history, maybe it’s the most team-centered gameplay in all of sports, or just pure athleticism. You’ll see…
This is the most fun sport to play and watch. It combines the endurance of soccer, the strategy of basketball, and the pure athleticism of hockey into one amazing sport. The sport of our nation, the sport of our Native American warriors. THIS is lacrosse.

USA Lacrosse is the governing body of all competitive lacrosse in America. In order to play on a competitive team, you must become a member of USA Lacrosse. It has incredible resources for players, parents and coaches to learn and advance the game in a fun and safe way.
